This recipe I grabbed from another boards and is designed to make up a 52ltr batch so you may need to adjust accordingly. I personally haven't made it, but the original creator claims it is exceptionally close to the real product.

A few replies on the other boards have suggested swapping either the cascade or saaz b for amarillo. I really enjoy this LC product so I might make it soon too.

Ingredients

Amount Item Type % or IBU

7.00 kg Pilsner, Malt Craft Export (Joe White) (3.2 EBC) Grain 68.63 %
2.00 kg Vienna Malt (Weyermann) (5.9 EBC) Grain 19.61 %
0.60 kg Carafoam (Weyermann) (3.9 EBC) Grain 5.88 %
0.60 kg Wheat Malt, Malt Craft (Joe White) (3.5 EBC) Grain 5.88 %
20.00 gm Saaz B (NZ) [6.80 %] (45 min) Hops 5.9 IBU
20.00 gm Cascade [5.90 %] (45 min) Hops 5.2 IBU
30.00 gm Cascade [5.90 %] (20 min) Hops 5.1 IBU
30.00 gm Saaz B (NZ) [6.80 %] (20 min) Hops 5.9 IBU
1.00 items Whirlfloc Tablet (Boil 15.0 min) Misc
40.00 gm Cascade [5.90 %] (0 min) Hops -
40.00 gm Saaz B (NZ) [6.80 %] (0 min) Hops -

For this particular recipe the original creator specified brands (eg: Joe White) but I typically don't use this malt brand so I'd also be interested to see how it compares with Barret Burston for example.

Hi Nathan, was the "creator" of this recipe Tony by any chance?
If its the same guy then I have brewed this beer before.
I didnt use JW malts I used IMC. (I think Tony uses IMC now too)
Fantastic drop. I havn't tried the real LC brew yet so can't comment
on how close it is. Last time I saw Tony he gave me a glass of a beer he
made called "the sheep shager". Another fantastic beer. If it is Tony' recipe,
then go mad and brew it. You wont regret it. Any of Tonys recipes are killer. He is a top brewer.

Yep, grabbed straight from Tony over at AussieHomeBrewer.

Who do you grab your IMC through? I typically only use BB malts for most base malts - only because they are easier for me to get a hold of generally.

Nathan, I see your in Newy. I get my IMC from Marks Home Brew in Islington.
He's MHB on Aussiehomebrewer.com. The most knowledgable brewer I know.
Where do you shop? Mark has every grain you could ever want to use.
Are you part of our HAG group? (Hunter All Grain brewers.)

I typically buy through Craftbrewer, mainly because its easier to shop online and I rarely have time during the week to visit Marks homebrew. Weekends are even worse :(

Not part of HAG yet, I want to get a few more under my belt first.
