Gage Roads Brewing

Gage Roads Brewing Co was established in 2002 by brewmasters Peter Nolin and Bill Hoedemaker and Gage Roads’ chief financial officer John Hoedemaker. Peter and Bill were the craft brewing team who put the Sail & Anchor on the map. They took risks. Brewed the beers that are now famous. Won acclaim, awards and a reputation for skill and dedication. Frustrated that more people couldn't enjoy the fruit of their labour at the S&A, they packed up their knowledge, experience and passion and set up their own full-scale brewery with a national capacity. Gage Roads is now Australia's largest independent craft brewery, using state-of-the-art facilities and techniques but remaining loyal to traditional craft brewing.
