Common Beer Terms
Chill Haze:
A cloudiness, or haze that occurs in beer when it gets cold as a result of the proteins and polyphenols bonding with hydrogen. Once the beer warms up this should disappear. It is possible to add clarifying agents to beer to prevent chill haze from occurring.

All elements of this beer fit. The aroma, colour and taste all match exactly. The beer is a rich ruby colour and has a caramely toffee aroma; these flavours follow through into the beers without being over powering. Suprisingly the beer is nicely balanced and the sweet aroma is not overpowering in the taste. A really great beer!

Three people had a taste and they all said that it was the best dark english ale they had ever tried. I am now addicted to dark beers from around the world. Was part of the Beer Masons Pack. Very enjoyable |
