A classic, unfiltered wheat beer from the world's oldest operating brewery. The Hefe boasts fruity banana and citrus flavours, which are complemented by creamy yeast flavours, spicy notes, and a smooth malt backbone.

Full bodied and very complex, it's undoubtedly one of the best wheat beers in the world.

After my first introduction to this brewery a year ago with their Kristall, I did not like wheat beer!

' Not sure what has happened since then but the more I try, the more I love 'em. And this Hefe Weissbier IS the best I have tasted!

Apart from the huge, frothy cream white head, subtle complexity  is the way this brew conducts itself. On the nose and tongue, senses of smoky wheat, yeasty banana, cloves, bubblegum malt.........all those and more.

With that big white head, you'd expect lots of bubbles in your mouth, but the creamy carbonation is just right. A superb all round drinking pleasure. I think you'll all agree.........

I'm hooked on Hefe
