Despite having a low alcohol content compared to other Uniboue beers (5%) there was a slight alcoholic aroma still, with some tropical fruits mixed in - primarily banana. Overall the aroma was quite nice, but nothing fantastic.

Be prepared for a murky pale yellow colour when you pour this beer, which I assume is due to the live yeast in the bottle. I also managed to create a huge amount of head when pouring this. I don't know if this is normal but it didn't really take a long time to settle down to a reasonable size.
The bubbles are quite fine, just not many in number and create an inviting beer.

I didn't expect this beer to be overly complex, due in part to the description offered by my local bottleshop, but this is far from the truth. The flavour is very complex with citrus (lemon and lime) flavours balanced out by the wheat flavours of the yeast and malt with a nice sprinkling of spice for good measure.

The mouthfeel is quite tingly due to the small bubbles and is very refreshing.

If you have a little patience after pouring a huge head there are a number of excellent flavours to enjoy in this exceptionally refreshing beer. Were it not for the price, this would be right up there as a regular session beer in my esky.
