Common Beer Terms

Diacetyl:
A natural byproduct of yeast which can taste like butter or butterscotch. Depending on the style of beer some brewers aim to have small amounts of detectable Diacetyl, whilst others frown upon it and take steps to avoid it as much as possible.

A touch hoppier than many lagers and I tasted the Pears more than Apples. Only one glass at a time.

Pours an orangey slightly cloudy colour.  Large white head which settles down to form a fine layer over the beer.

Very strong aroma of apples and pears - really nice.

slight taste of the malt, the apple flavour comes through.  Not to dry on the finish but very smooth from start to finish.
