As a pils it makes a good euro lager. On the nose you can pic it as a euro beer. On the palate its a smooth, lightly carbinated, full flavered beer with a creamy head. Enjoyable, but no stand out hop flavor. That said, its a nice beer. |

| Pale yellow in colour and lightly carbonated. A thin spotty lacing follows the beer down the glass and the beer itself is appealing to look at. The aroma whilst exceptionally faint has hints of fresh-cut grass, spices and resin characteristics. Not a bad aroma, but quite a complex and not forthcoming aroma. The flavour is very complex compared with others in the style I've discovered/tasted lately. There are many combinations you must compute to describe Trumer. I'm not sure this is a good thing, as overall the flavour is very dry any astringent in my opinion. Initially you are presented with sour grainy taste which is rounded out by further sourness and a slight sweetnes to balance it out. There is a slight twang to the flavour which isn't overpowering, but definately present. Trumer Pils might be savoured by those that enjoy other Euro lagers, but its not a beer I'll go back too as its too sour and complex for a Pilsner which should be crisp and refreshing for mine. |
