Skull Splitter is our strongest ale: which is named after Thorfinn Einarsson who was the 7th Viking Earl of Orkney. Sophisticated, satiny smooth with a deceptive light caracter, it is a tribute to our colourful forbear.

A lovely Tawney red colour with a tight smooth head. the aroma has a full fruity malt character with hints of spicy hops, dates and figs. I could smell hints of ginger. A rich taste on the palate of fresh and dried fruits, and a light summer citrus fruits after taste. |
