The Hop Thief has a luscious passionfruit and citrus bouquet created from our secret selection of aroma hops. Even the malt takes a back seat, providing a deep golden colour and a malty creaminess to cushion the hops. When poured, the head is tenacious, the aroma seductive and the finish brisk to say the least.

Abolutely Superb, if only it was taken off the limited release line and made a full member of the squire society

A limited release Beer to celebrate the end of the March Hop Harvest this Beer is designed to exagerate the selection of hops chosen. The aroma is a very fruity and sweet smell, certainly not over-powering but too subtle in my opinion. There are hints of passionfruit and orange/madarin and basically nothing malty can be detected. Pours with a great head and whilst has a nice flavour, it is too weak and tastes more like an alcoholic soft drink instead of a Beer. Would be a great Summer beer rather then moving into Autumn would perfectly suit those who prefer more subtle fruity flavours in their Beer. I'd buy it again, but only there are better Beers in the James Squire range.
