Mountain Bitter is a contemporary interpretation of the classic English beer style of Best Bitter. It is a glowing copper coloured beer with a creamy head and an aroma of tangerines, biscuit and oak. In the mouth it carries light caramel flavours and a very firm and quenching bitterness. A great pairing with Shepherd's Pie, fried mullet , aged cheddar or for that occasion when lots of real flavor is desired.

Had many pints of this over many visits to the Brisbane Brewhouse.

This is a serious brew! i dare say the best craft brew I had in Australia? Its a bitter but could hold its own to most American IPAs. A sweet, hoppy aroma comes from the deep, somewhat cloudy amber liquid topped with a fluffy, slightly off-white head. And the taste... MMmmm.... the changing flavour and bitter mouthfeel is heaven to my senses! Writing about it makes me WANT one

If you see this in a pub, order one, I doubt you'll be disappointed!
