Little Creatures Bright Ale by Little Creatures Brewery

From: Little Creatures Brewery in Western Australia, Australia
Style: Australian Blonde Ale

Beer Description:

Little Creatures “Bright” is a top fermented uniquely new Australian ale. As the name suggests, “Bright” is a filtered beer with a striking golden clarity in the glass. We use 4 luscious malts including Pale, Carapils, Wheat and Vienna. The beer is full flavoured whilst soft and easy on the palate making it very approachable.

The alcohol is 4.5% alc/vol. Bitterness is slightly lower than our highly charged Pale Ale and is accentuated enough to balance the smooth, malty character. The hop characteristics in “Bright” is derived from the use of highly aromatic New Zealand B Saaz Flowers as well as varieties from the North West of USA. Clean, distinctive, full-flavoured, smooth and very more-ish!!

Comments:

Most definately a striking gold colour - as advertised - and makes this beer very appealing when looking at it from a distance. However there was very little head which was disappointing.

A great fresh and sweet aroma was present and the flavour was very crisp and well balanced. Unlike the Pale Ale which has a very strong bitterness Bright Ale is smooth and that is thanks to the choice of malts and hops used.

A perfect choice for a summer afternoon, or even in the cooler months. If you have enjoyed any of the Little Creatures beers before you will enjoy this one.
