James Boag's Premium Light is a full flavoured light beer with a smooth, pleasant bitterness. The aroma is clean and fresh with a malty, fruity character similar to that of its full strength counterpart, James Boag's Premium. The flavour balance provides an easy-drinking refreshing beer style with a pale golden colour and excellent head retention and lacing.

| A solid light beer, with exceptional flavour and a great aroma. Light pale gold in colour with a good foamy head. Quite a refreshing flavour however there just isn't enough complexity to it. Very little hops or malt flavour, still better than some full strength beers and is my personal choice when wanting a low alcohol beer. Premium light is a good all round performer and should be tried for those that enjoy a light beer. | ||||

| Another impressive product from J. Boag & Son Brewing. One of the tastiest and best light beers I have ever had, and will likely be my preferred choice for light in the fridge when desired. Cascade premium light has been a solid light beer as well, & I think this Boag's betters it. Good stuff. | ||||
