Some of these reviewers cannot be serious, either too young to realise that cheap beer doesnt equate to good beer, or a liquor store manager trying to offload this tripe.

Being open minded i bought a carton of haagen,  and was severely underwhelmed, a below par beer.

I would not normally review this beer as there is very little to say, however i was insulted by the previous reviews giving it full marks.

I agree with Astro Boy and I only joined this forum because this is currently the best lager commercially produced in Australia. It is cheap which is a bonus, but hard to find and highly under rated. Independent Breweries need to sort out their marketing and at least get a website happening.

I must say, I agree with Tinman.

The beer is bland and boring, I won't bother doing an in-depth review. It's cheap, tastes bad, and is awful once the temperature rises.

I am guessing either the people who have rated this beer work for the company or they really haven't tried many beers. If you rating this beer high for the price yes it isn't bad value for money, but hopefully this site is about appreciating beer not only  thecheapest way to get piss.

This beer lacks front palate flavour , and has been designed to be chilled down to cold to hide any blandness it has. If you want to drink some good authentic style lagers look for Hansa, Trumer Pils. Pilsner Urquell or even warsteiner.

The greates beer ever! Value and taste wise, only $30 a carton and 5% wooooo, only down side is only BWS stocks it. It has a real good after taste and current taste, it has a hint of malt about it! Goes down very easily! i highly recommend it! i would never dare drink anything else out of a bottle!
