Light Struck:
When iso-alpha-acids come into contact with light near the ultra-violet spectrum, the light breaks off part of the chain of iso-alpha-acids forming MTB. MTB is a skunky compound which is detectable even in low concentrations. Lightstrike will ruin the flavour, appearance and aroma of a beer and should be avoided at all costs - typically by bottling in dark brown or green bottles.

Wow! The Forbidden Fruit lives up to its name. If this is the fruit Adam and Eve had the chance to sample I know why they grabbed it and enjoyed every minute of it! A wonderfully strong malty/nutty and spicey aroma with a nice creamy half inch head sat atop of a dark browny/gold colour.

This beer was enough just to watch, the little lumps of yeast still left in the bottle began to settle only to be stirred up with each sip and the little carbonated bubbles in the beer providing a visual feast.

Orange and spicey flavours filled the mouth as you drank this and the realatively low bitterness allows for this to be used as a session beer. The malty aroma is not as present in the flavour and the flavour is a much more wheat and yeasty flavour, as to be expected for the style of beer.

Overall a very nice beer and would be a suitable session beer too, were it not for the price tag which I think will drive a lot of potential consumers away unfortunately.
