The Happy Goblin's Strong Ale is made to a similar recipe as the Pale Ale, using the same blend of malts but with only the stronger wort from the first runnings of the mash. This results in a stronger malt flavour which is balanced by the addition of more hops to the kettle.
This beer typically has an alcohol content of around 6.0%.

Mine was 6.5% and a bit too malty for me. Started out OK but by the time I finished the glass I was over the malt. Think it was just I was not in the mood for a malty beer at the time. New brewer needs a second chance. |

| i bought some goblin dark ale ,7.8% ,which had been bottled about 2 weeks prior to drinking so it was super fresh. this beer is all hand crafted. i drank it at room temp because it seems to let the flavors out better . creamy malty and sweet is the word ,very easy drinking and it creeps up on u with its 7.8% boot!! does not taste like alchole at all like some other strong beers, which is why its easy drinking. truely a beer lovers beer. | ||||
