Common Beer Terms

Chill Haze:
A cloudiness, or haze that occurs in beer when it gets cold as a result of the proteins and polyphenols bonding with hydrogen. Once the beer warms up this should disappear. It is possible to add clarifying agents to beer to prevent chill haze from occurring.

The Happy Goblin's unique Pale Ale is brewed from a blend of traditional ale malt with additional amber and Vienna malts resulting in a full flavoured, malty beer. This ale's mild bitterness comes from the addition of Fuggles hops to the kettle at the start of the boil.

This beer typically has an alcohol content of around 4.0%.

Poured with a nice head that stayed till the glass was empty. Mine was 4.4% and turned out to be a nice smooth drop. Not  bad for a new kid on the block.
