Black & Tan is a perfect blend of Gipsland Gold and Hatlifter Stout, vintaged over an extended period of time. A rich full malty flavoured Ale highlighted with delicious chocolate, coffee and deep roasted barley flavours from the Stout.

I firstly must admit I've never tried either of the partial beers that make up this Black & Tan. However I am hesitant to do so now after this review. Black & Tan pours a deep red colour thanks to the blend, it has a minimal head and is lightly carbonated - the head retention was nearly non-existant. |
