Inspired by top fermented ales, amarillo hops provide passionfruit aromas whilst warm fermentation creates complex fruity characteristics. This is finished with a fine citrus note of cascade hops, keeping the palate lifted through the lingering bitterness.

| Deep amber in colour with a hint of passionfruit in the aroma. Nice citrius taste that lingers on the palate. Head disappears rather quickly with no hint of a ring. A 6 pack would go down ok but not a session beer | ||||

Poured a deep orange sand colour into my 425mL pilsener glass. A creamy egg-white head thinned quickly and its not lacing the glass. Seems to be a low-carbonated beer. Limited smells noted at this stage.. maybe some fruit tones present, but nothing worth noting. Definitely some fruit notes on the palate - ripe melons, passionfruits, etc. The malt is lovely, has a biscuity quality that is sublime. Balanced off with a dry bitterness at the end. A decent quality ale, would be lovely against some rich red meat. Probably not a session brew but something I will buy again in the future. Not bad at all. |
