Common Beer Terms
Chill Haze:
A cloudiness, or haze that occurs in beer when it gets cold as a result of the proteins and polyphenols bonding with hydrogen. Once the beer warms up this should disappear. It is possible to add clarifying agents to beer to prevent chill haze from occurring.

As the other two said. A bit weak but middle of the road compared to the other light beers out there. |

I like ssar only just discovered this 'light beer', which on its own was by chance. I quite like the labelling and I believe it represents Coopers quite well. The aroma was a little upsetting, fairly weak and just smelt like Beer. I could not detect any real scents, just the 'Beer' smell. It poured a nice lighter gold colour and was brilliantly carbonated and was very inviting. The flavour was very simple yet smooth and went down quite well. Certainly one of the better low alcohol products on the market but still lacked any real punch or excitement that some other Coopers Beers provide. |

Never knew Coopers made a light beer (though I guessed they must) this one is fairly good. A nice aroma to start, though a tad on the weak side. A little disappointing through the first few mouthfuls, as you always expect more (depth, bite, flavour, strength) from a Coopers product then again this is a light beer of course, so lighter elements are to be expected. Pretty smooth most of the way through, but it falls just short of Boag's similar product (Boag's Premium Light) for mine. The labelling is OK except the stripes on the main label seem a bit tacky. The glass stubby is shaped well and produced in the good 375mL size. I''ll be drinking more of this (when the situation calls for light beer) to examine it more and just because it seems a good option over Cascade light. |
