| Black, creamy and foamy. What an inviting beer! A sweet nutty aroma was very noticable from this beer which reminded me of a homebrew oatmeal stout that I had recently made. Thick in body and I was warned I'd need a spoon to drink it, which wasn't the case of course. All the same it was a very heavy beer. It had a strong roasted flavour with a fainter nutty aftertaste. It was a very interesting combination of smokey and a roasted flavour that was presented in this beer and it is certainly more complex than your standard stouts. Overall a great flavour!! | |||
