Carlton Sterling is a double hopped 2.5% lager and as its name suggests, is a true marque of brewing excellence made from world-class ingredients. The finest of pale malts and roasted barley are used to create malt flavour and colour. Noble Saaz hops and Australian Pride of Ringwood hops provide a subtle yet distinctive hop aroma and flavour. CUB's unique double hopped brewing process, normally reserved for premium beers, maximises flavour to create a light beer of distinction. It's this unique character that brings an extra layer of flavour to this excellent quality low alcohol beer.

Not a bad light beer - certainly looks ok visibly (glass, labelling etc.). A nice aroma, but nothing special - well, in general this is a "nothing special beer" for mine. Fairly smooth throughout, with an ok taste. A bit weak and simple - but then again most light beers are. Marketed and attempts to portray an "image" beyond it's actual quality. Still, not a bad occasional choice for when you need to drink light.
