| The classic "Brown". Has a significant cult status in certain circles, especially among some older folks. A nice aroma, and pretty smooth throughout, it's no real surprise that this beer has been compared to Black (Tooheys Old) in some ways. It falls well short of the depth and real solid taste of Black for mine, though. A slight tinny aspect to the taste in latter stages, and a finish that doesn't really scream "drink more of me". Still, a solid drinkable beer most of the time. | ||||
