Common Beer Terms

Bottle Conditioning:
Bottle conditioning is a secondary (or tertiary) fermentation process which occurs when yeast and sugars are added directly to the bottle during the bottling phase. This assists the beer with a slightly higher alcohol content, but more importantly a longer shelf life without the need for preservatives.

Good beer to have at a BBQ. Better than a lot of others at the same price. Will drink again.

It would be unfair I feel to rate this beer on one sip alone probably so on two. This is a beer to be enjoyed the full bottle down, which in a blind small test might be mis-leading. A subtle aroma with minor hints of flowers/grass don't hint at anything special but when poured a fantastic copper colour emerges with a thick creamy head. This beer grabs your attention and makes you look! Taste wise there is a small bitter aftertaste and a smooth flavour up front but overall I didn't think it to be worth the higher price tag given other Beers on the market these days. Beats macro-brewed beers hands down, but for a micro-brewed beer I was a little let down. Would make for an easy drink at a BBQ though as its not very complex in taste.
