This beer is a tribute to Australia’s 10th century ale brewing pioneers and also recognizes the Hunter’s traditional love for dark beers. A deliciously drinkable, rich, malty, dark ale of classic proportions, this beer is full of chocolaty roasted characteristics; hints of caramel candy, and light fruity notes from the ale yeast. This is balanced with medium bitterness derived from both early and late hopping.
