A German style ale. Soft and generously bodied, it is a beer that showcases fruity notes and a smooth lingering maltiness. The addition of Saaz hops from Bohemia adds a balancing medium bitterness and spicy aroma.

I got a six for my birthday, and so a day later when I pulled an ice-cold bottle out of the fridge and popped the cap, an immediate malty spice aroma wafted out of the bottle. I took a wine glass and poured about a mouthfull into it and enjoyed the deep gold colour whilst enjoying the aroma some more. Taking the drink, the carbonation filled my senses with its light maltiness and flavour before sliding effortlessly down. I then tasted it out of the bottle, and have to say it was just as good. The enjoyment I got drinking this beer was so great, it seemed gone too soon. Fortunately I was able to crack open another. A top quality brew this was, and I look forward to trying some of their other brews.
